Treat people like people
Remember, there are very few truly evil people whom you will encounter
most are just uninformed and have never had a true relationship with the Lord

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives.
It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.2 Tim 3:16-17
The Word of God is mighty and powerful,
but it always leads back to the fact that we need to have a relationship with the Lord
not just intellectual knowledge.

Many know of God but don’t know Him
Many people are confused about how we use religious terms,
don’t take for granted they understand the terms as you do.
Every encounter will be a little different
but stay focused on what you are doing,
remember the fight is not against them but higher influences in the heavenly realm.

1. Door to Door Evangelism;

Remember you are representing the Church
Schedule--(time and dates)--will be approved the Pastor
Jesus sent them out two by two. To avoid problems with out reach teams they will be two men or two women,
no mixed unmarried couples or mixed married couples.
Most visits will be at the door
We have a threshold rule
women may not enter a house with a man
and a man may not enter a house with a woman.
If there is a couple, husband and wife, in the home then the ministry team may enter,
other wise, make an appointment for further contact at an appropriate time and place.

2. Outreach Bible Studies

Remember you are teaching God’s Word
The teacher will be appointed by the Pastor
and all curriculum will be approved by the Pastor
Bibles Studies are an extension of the Church and should be going in the same direction as the Church is going

3. One on One Evangelism

Remember you are representing Jesus Christ
One on one daily encounters are not a organized Church function or program but are divine appointments in which we all should have an encouraging word and be ready to pray as the Lord leads.
Remember:
Some plant, some water, but God gives the increase
We are laborers working in the Lord's fields
Laborers are to pick ripe fruit
If you can talk them into it, someone can talk them out of it
We rely on the Holy Spirit to bring life to the seeds we plant
We are called to the willing, Jesus ministered to those who wanted to listen
If fruit is picked before it is ripe it can be destructive,
our hearts are that all would be ready right now, but that is not how life works
We PRAY before we go, but we don’t pray so much you don’t go
Prayer without feet will go nowhere
Feet without prayer will go in the wrong direction
